Thanks! and don't get too worked up about what happens to Luke. It was an accident (or so Jaina thought). I freaked out when it happened. I had to calm my self down and force myself to read on with tears in my eyes. Luke has a good plan! besides a hero like Luke can't die in a paperback book.
Sorry I answered you; my computer was dead for a long time and I'd forgotten I even HAD a DeviantArt account. But yeah - the hardcover was the first edition. You're not missing anything with the paperback; they're the same book. Heck, I've got the eBooks version (came on a CD-ROM with my copy of "The Unifying Force") and it's identical to both. But the key way to find out whether or not a book has a hardcover edition is whether or not a main character dies. If someone important dies, the book has a hardcover edition.
