I killed him by JediSeeker1 I killed him by JediSeeker1
I imagine this scene to take place right after Luke gets shot down by Jaina. She has returned to Kashyyyk full of remorse.

BigFatty over at the Jedi Council Forums did this wonderful coloring of this drawing! [link]

Reports of Luke's death were greatly exaggerated. Still, had to suck to be Jaina right then.

Thanks! It was inspired after I read Inferno. This is how I pictured Jaina right after she shot Luke down, when he pulled his little trick of faking his death. Thanks so much for the :+fav:

That's beautiful. The single tear is very effective, her anguish really comes through here. The shading and anatomy is superb. Must :+fav:

Great art! I totally started crying at that part, and then I was like, Wait, What? Luke would never be killed off like that! And it all turned out okay.Again, awesome picture of Jaina!

Can you imagine if the writers actually went forth and killed Luke? You thought R.A. Salvatore had death threats... LOL.

Nice drawing! She kinda looks like how I envisioned Mara. I like the hair, pose is good too. Good job!

Wow, ~JS1--powerful! You've definitely captured the anguish in her body language and expression here...wonderful job! I really like the near arm--it's a perfect shape, and the shading is beautifully done. Great job with a "between the lines" scene!

Nice pic; incredible linework. But *please* tell me that this is a joke. I can't imagine Jaina ever doing something like this.

Thanks! and don't get too worked up about what happens to Luke. It was an accident (or so Jaina thought). I freaked out when it happened. I had to calm my self down and force myself to read on with tears in my eyes. Luke has a good plan! besides a hero like Luke can't die in a paperback book.

Yeah; I guess you're right. If Luke dies, it'll be in a hardcover like "Vector Prime" or "Sacrifice". Guess I over-reacted. Sorry. :p

Wait, there's a hardcover version of "Vector Prime?" And I bought it in paperback? I feel dirty...

Sorry I answered you; my computer was dead for a long time and I'd forgotten I even HAD a DeviantArt account. :p But yeah - the hardcover was the first edition. You're not missing anything with the paperback; they're the same book. Heck, I've got the eBooks version (came on a CD-ROM with my copy of "The Unifying Force") and it's identical to both. But the key way to find out whether or not a book has a hardcover edition is whether or not a main character dies. If someone important dies, the book has a hardcover edition.

I suppose. I still find hardcovers easier to manage, though.
