This is my Illustration for Star Wars: Fate Of the Jedi: Omen by Christie Golden.

"He stumbled away several steps before leaning against one of the standing stones. He let it support him, clutching it like a lifeline. Luke had been right. There was no healing here, no closure. No chance of "saving Jacen." Just a horrible racking inevitability, a feeling of helplessness, and the sensation of picking at a wound that should have healed long ago.

Ben Rested his head against the stone and sobbed. "

Edit: I updated this Piece, changed a few colors and lighten a few area that I felt were too dark

Gah poor Ben. That part was so upsetting. Really nice art here, especially the coloring on his jacket.

Wash: Psychic, though? That sounds like something out of science fiction.
Zoe: We live in a spaceship, dear.
Wash: So?

Nice painterly approach to this, you capture the emotion of this moment very well.

Oooh, nice emotion in this piece. I haven't read the book, but it sounds sad. Poor Ben. I feel really sorry for him. He's been through so much hardship. :(

I love how you've done his jacket, especially. And the pose--you can really see the quiet grief and helplessness there. Nice work! :D

Turned out great, my sister thought it was a tradtional painting. You captured his sadness well.
